Virtual Servers

Businesses and individuals are choosing virtualization due to its ease of installation, upgrades and maintenance, as well as significantly lower total cost of ownership. Virtual servers are not dependent on physical hardware, so they are easily migrated between completely different hardware systems (including hardware change/upgrade). Moreover, as most production servers do not have a constant full load all the time, you can save initial investment in hardware, as well as decrease your power bill, by moving multiple services to the same physical server. With introduction of hosted virtual servers, it is becoming an increasingly accepted solution to stop maintaining a server room in each building (that space can be put to a better use, for example, you can make a gym there), and put all the services you need on hosted virtual servers.

We are providing Linux virtual servers based on the proven Virtuozzo/OpenVZ platform that has the best performance among virtualization platforms. Virtuozzo/OpenVZ virtual machine (known as a container) runs on the same kernel as the host system (properly isolated and secured, though). The only inherent limitation of this approach is that the guest systems must be Linux-based as well, and they can not use custom kernels. We provide many pre-made installations of most major Linux distributions (Alt Linux, Arch Linux, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Slackware, Suse, Ubuntu) to be used on your virtual machines.
